Old bloodline Straight Egyptian Arabians, bred to be usable athletes.
The Arabians at Royal Legend trace back to old bloodline Straight Egyptians — a foundation prized for soundness, intelligence, and beauty. But the breeding program here isn’t built for the show ring alone.
Our horses are bred to be usable athletes. Many of them are used for jumping, and they hold up under real work — lessons, leases, cross-country, and sport.
That’s an unusual combination, and it’s a deliberate one. A pretty horse that can’t go to work is a wall ornament. A working horse without good breeding behind it doesn’t last. We aim for both.

A heritage line of Arabians, carefully selected for type, temperament, and athletic ability.
Many of our horses are used for jumping. We breed for soundness and rideability — not just halter potential.
Foals are raised on our property, handled from the start, and started under saddle here when ready. Continuity matters.
Alongside the Arabians, Royal Legend also raises Nigerian Dwarf goats. They’re a fixture of the barn, a favorite of our camp kids, and the stars of our goat yoga events.
Small, friendly, and full of personality — they’re part of what makes the barn feel alive.
